The first open russian festival of modern up-to-date cinema " Alafea mountain"

The festival in Tobolsk drew close to a hundred visitors from different parts of the country, including filmmakers, actors, and journalists. The festival’s program included not only film viewings, but also master classes on stage movement, theatrical speech and diction, camerawork techniques, and script writing. The festival’s meet-the-star events and concerts featured many popular Russian actors including Yekaterina Shpitsa, Tatiana Abramova, Oleg Kharitonov, Maxim Kolosov, Asker Barbekov, and many others.

Tobolsk’s Ershov Drama Theater and the city’s Free Youth Theater featured a number of stage productions including How are you doing?, Nonsense, A Life in Pink, Okudzhava’s Era, and My Own Way while the halls of Apelsinema became a platform for viewing the films entered in the festival’s competition program that included 17 short films and 9 feature-length movies. Some of the films were presented by their directors. 

1st Open Festival of Russian Cinema Chernorechye Fest

Chernorechye Fest, a festival of Russian cinema, became a highlight of Dzerzhinsk's cultural life. For five days, the city was playing host to an event filled with meetings and performances featuring Russian theater and film stars, concerts, master classes, and a competitive program of full-length and short films. The festival attracted about 8,000 spectators. The A-star list included more than 120 film celebrities such as Irina Muravyova, Natalya Varley, Nonna Grishayeva, Dmitry Kharatyan, Elena Valyushkina, and others. The attendance of the festival's gala ceremony by People's Artist of Russia Tatyana Piletskaya was cheered by the invited guests.
